10 suspected men held in Hyderabad
KARACHI: The Hyderabad police have launched a fresh string of crackdown against the defunct religious outfits on Friday evening in relation to twin bomb blasts occurred in Karachi during day timings yesterday, Geo news reported.
At least 10 suspected miscreants have been rounded up from different parts during crackdown late by Friday night, police sources said.
Those suspected miscreants, hailing from defunct religious outfits, were apprehended from parts of Latifabad and Qasimabad localities while the organizations included Sipah-e-Sahaba, Jesh Muhammad, Jamatud Dawat and many others.
According to police sources, the crackdowns were carried out upon the directives of top police officials meanwhile, nabbed persons have been moved to unidentified location for further investigations.
SP Hyderabad Qamar Jaskani said the activists of defunct religious parties were nabbed in accordance with Schedule Fore and their release will rest with government.
