SHEIKHUPURA: As many as 20 persons, going to attend a marriage ceremony, were injured including children when the bus they were onboard struck with an electricity poll and overturned here late on Friday night, Geo news reported.

According to police, the bus full of people was bound for Gujranwala from Faisalabad when it met an accident on Sheikhupura-Faisalabad road.

On the information of accident, the rescue teams arrived on the scene and rescued injured people, police added.

Injured people, some of whom said to be critical in condition, have been admitted to local hospital for medical treatment, sources concluded.
