Minister directs livestock officials to improve performance

KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Livestock Abdul Haq Bhurt has directed the higher officials of the livestock department to keep vigilance on functioning of veterinary hospitals in a proper manner across the province with a view improve the performance, which should be visible.He issued these directives while talking to dignitaries who came from various parts of Sindh to meet him at his office.Mr. Haq took serious notice of news item published in newspapers that veterinary hospitals are being used as chopals (Otaqs) and the livestock doctors and employees remain absent from their duties. The Minister Livestock warned that such practice will not be tolerated at any cost. He said that he would pay surprise visit to hospitals and Institutions and if any concerned staff or employee found guilty will face legal action.
