ISLAMABAD: The government is considering a strategy of reducing both the price of diesel and the subsidy.This was told by acting secretary Oil Gas and Natural Resources G. A. Sabri in an exclusive talk with Geo News in Islamabad.He said that the prices of petroleum products were reviewed in a meeting of the special committee, constituted on directive of prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani.The government is giving a subsidy of Rs 35.42 on diesel.According to the secretary Petroleum, after the formula of reducing the price of diesel and subsidy is completed, it would be presented at the meeting of the economic coordination committee for final approval.
