DI KHAN: Seven people including security personnel were killed and over 25 others injured in two blasts near Polytechnic College here on Sunday.According to sources, the injured including some security personnel were shifted to hospital District Headquarter Hospital where condition of many is said to be critical.The first blast, which was of low intensity, carried out with the help of explosives planted outside a hotel near Polytechnic College. The second blast of high intensity, caused by a suicide bomber, occurred at the vehicle of Rescue-15, causing several casualties.Later, unknown people opened fire on an ambulance carrying the injured, however, it caused no casualties, sources said.The injured also included DSP Kifayatullah, Sub-inspector Allah Nawaz and PRO to DIG Muhammad Ramzhan.President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani have strongly condemned the blasts in DI Khan.The Prime Minister has ordered to ensure provision of every possible treatment to the injured.
