Many minors amid 20 burnt to death in Karachi inferno

KARACHI: At least twenty people including many minor children have been burnt to death as blazes engulfed 10 shelties in North Karachi sector five, Chiipa sources said.10 fire tenders have reached on the scene and have started taming the fire while many other people have seriously been burnt who have been shifted to hospital, sources added.No cause of fire eruption in cabins could be reported. Several people are still caught in the fire. Meanwhile, rescue efforts are underway.Eidhi sources added that over two dozens completely burnt dead bodies have been shifted to different hospitals. Emergency has been declared in Abbasi Shaheed hospital, hospital sources informed Geo News.Geo T.V correspondent Faheem Siddiqui reported the deadly blazes overwhelmed around 15 to 20 cabins, as people were fast asleep therefore, they could not get themselves rescued after inferno outbreak.He also feared that as many as two-dozen people must have been burnt in the lethal inferno.
