Gas explosion in Lahore injures six

LAHORE: Six persons of a family were injured in Raj Garh area of Lahore as gas, filled in two rooms of their house, caused loud explosion and erupted fire on Tuesday, police sources said.According to sources, there were three children among the injured people. It is pertinent to mention that the complaint of gas leakage was registered however no action was taken, residents of house said.Explosion occurred due to electricity load-shedding which caused fire eruption that gutted all the furniture and other materials in the rooms and left six dwellers injured, residents maintained.Injured were shifted to nearby hospitals where doctors declared two among them to be critical in condition.

QUETTA: Unknown miscreants threw a hand grenade in a police constable house in Railway Guards Colony located on Joint Road in Quetta on Tuesday, police sources said.According to police, the constable was identified as Sabir.
