SUKKUR: Two young girls were kidnapped from different parts of Rohri on Friday, police said.The police said that Sitara Sheikh, 12, was abducted by Sono Bilal and his two accomplices from Achi Kabyun area while 21-year-old Shehzadi Channa was kidnapped by Mukhtar Channa and Irafan Channa from Kandharna area.Police registered the cases and initiated the hunt for abductors. However, no arrest has been reported.

LAHORE: Following Dera Ghazi Khan suicide blasts, security has been put on high alert in the provincial capital, Capital City Police Chief Muhammad Pervaiz Rathor said Friday.According to police sources, police has stepped up patrolling in the city besides deployment of additional police personnel at sensitive areas. Police chief directed all Divisional SPs to start checking of suspected persons around hotels and guest houses.Meanwhile, he appealed to people of Lahore to extend full support to the police to eliminate terrorism.
