LAHORE: A dacoit was injured with his own bullet during an attempt to snatch car on Ferozpur road here on Wednesday, police sources said.According to police, three dacoits arrived on Ferozepur road after looting Rs.75000 and four mobile phones from Wehdat Coloney area and tried to snatch a car but during the endeavor, one of them received bullet shot from his own pistol and fell down.After the incident, the other associate dacoits flee the area leaving their injured friend on the spot, sources added.Police arrested the wounded dacoit and shifted him to hospital, police sources confirmed.

KARACHI: Kaleem Siddiqui has resigned from his post after the new managing director of the Pakistan State Oil (PSO) took over the charge here on Wednesday.The government had appointed Kaleem Siddiqui as managing director of the PSO in last October but he was changed in the end of February and now Irfan Qureshi, attached with the government and public relations in Caltex has immediately been appointed the new MD of the PSO.After the new MD took over the charge, Kaleem Siddiqui has informed the staff at the communication meeting about his resignation which was approved by the board of the PSO.
