ANP accused of horse-trading in Senate polls

PESHAWAR: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MPA Shazia Orangzaib has accused Awami National Party (ANP) of doing the worst horse-trading in NWFP in Senate elections.Speaking to mediamen here on Wednesday, she said that members of NWFP Assembly showed their votes to each other before casting. They made some signs also, she said, adding that like presidential elections, the process of showing vote before casting was repeated again, she added.The media, she said, was not allowed to cover the voting due to the horse-trading.

LAHORE: The Benazir Bhutto Shaheed International Kabaddi Tournament will be held from March 7 as scheduled earlier.Secretary Pakistan Kabaddi Federation Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar told Geo News that the teams from Germany, Italy and England have reached Pakistan for participating in the event. Two cops killed in Lahore attack laid to rest

SHAIKHUPURA: Two policemen killed during ambush on Sri Lankan cricket team on Tuesday have been laid to rest in their ancestral village.Constable Muddasir Kamboh was the resident of Shaikhupura whereas another constable Muhammad Sultan was belonged to Pak Pattan.
