Sources further said that strategy in this connection would be finalized soon. Besides, an emergency meeting of the Lahore police is also underway.

DURBAN: Australia clinched the Test series against South Africa when they won the second Test by 175 runs at Kingsmead here on Tuesday.South Africa were bowled out for 370 in their second innings with 37.4 overs to spare on the final day.The series win enabled Australia to bounce back after losing a home series against the same opponents earlier in the season.The victory was virtually sealed when the tourists dismissed overnight batsmen Jacques Kallis and AB de Villiers inside the first hour. South Africa lost another two wickets before lunch. DUBAI: The tele-conference of the International Cricket Council (ICC) will be held on March 16 in which the Champions Trophy will be discussed and dates of the Twenty20 World Cup to be held next year will also be reviewed.The members of the ICC chief executive committee will exchange their views, through tele-conference on March 16, on the ICC Champions Trophy which has been scheduled for September-October this year.In the ICC meeting held at Perth last January, the venue of the Champions Trophy was shifted from Pakistan to substitute venue of Sri Lanka in the wake of security concerns.Besides discussing the ICC Champions Trophy in the tele-conference, dates of the Twenty20 World Cup Championship matches, to be played in the West Indies next year, will also be discussed.

LAHORE: PPP Punjab Parliamentary Leader Raja Riaz said Tuesday that no-confidence motion would be tabled against Speaker and Deputy Speaker of Punjab Assembly in the next session.Speaking to Geo News here, Raja Riaz said that Speaker Rana Iqbal and Deputy Speaker Rana Mashhood Khan had become controversial and biased.They now stand disqualified for the position of Speaker and Deputy Speaker, he said.He further told that the decision was taken at a meeting presided over by Governor Punjab Salman Taseer and attended by PPP Punjab President Rana Aftab Ahmed and Zikria Butt.
