PESHAWAR: Unknown militants have blown up electricity tower with explosives in Armar area of Peshawar on early Wednesday.The pylon completely collapsed as a result of explosion which cut electricity supply to Armar and adjoining areas, electricity company said.Police have started investigation into incident while the repair work on tower has got underway, sources added.

MOSCOW: At least 25 people were killed and four people were injured on Thursday when a bus collided with a lorry east of Moscow, a news agency reported, citing local officials.The bus burst into flames after the head-on collision and was entirely burnt out. The accident took place on a road in the Vladimir region about 200 km (120 miles) east of Moscow.

KARACHI: A Trawler driver received bullet injured during a robbery in here on early Wednesday, police sources said.Police have registered case against unknown militants. According to sources, unknown miscreants tried to rob a trawler driver and conductor of money and other valuables but they resisted. JHAL MAGSI: Four people were killed and five other were injured after two armed groups of Magsi clan clashed here on Wednesday.The police said that violent clash erupted over a land dispute between two groups of Magsi tribe in Jhal Magsi District of Balochistan. The rival groups opened fire on each other, killing four people and injuring five others. The victims were identified as Hamza Khan, Dar Muhammad, Suba Khan and Amir Jan.Following the armed clash, a heavy contingent of the police reached the scene. However situation remains tense in the area.
