KARACHI: Pakistan hockey team coach Shahid Ali Khan has said that no new talent is being found in hockey due to which the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has decided to include old players in the team.Talking with media here at the Hockey Club of Pakistan Stadium on Tuesday, Shahid Ali Khan said that the national team is participating in the Azlan Shah Hockey Tournament with only one goalkeeper. He said that there is only one slot for goalkeeper in modern hockey and if Nasir Ahmed gets unfit then goalkeeping job may be assigned to Dilawar Hussain.Shahid Ali Khan said that the Pakistan team did not play any international tournament for eight months but it is hoped that the team would give better input in the Azlan Shah tournament.He said that the main target of the Pakistan team is Asia Cup.

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has started considering an increase in members of the selection committee from three to five.The national selection committee currently consists of chairman Abdul Qadir, members Saleem Jaffer and Shoaib Mohammad.The PCB sources said that the board has started considering to increase number of selectors from three to five and an announcement in this regard is likely to be made in the next few days.Names of Ehteshamuddin and Farrukh Zaman are being tipped for including in the PCB selection committee.
