LAHORE: The seventh National Women Cycling Championship will commence here tomorrow and eight teams will participate in the event.Secretary Pakistan Cycling Federation Idrees Haider Khwaja told Geo News that besides all four provinces, teams of WAPDA, Army, Railways and Sui Southern Gas would also take part in the three-day championship.During the championship, nine probable cyclists will also be selected for the Pakistan women cycling team who will participate in a training camp to be held in Islamabad for the preparation of the 11th South Asian Games.

KARACHI: Pakistan Asian gold medalist boxer Ibrar Hussain has offered to coach the national boxing team.Talking to Geo news at National Coaching Centre here on Friday, Hussain said no effort was undertaken in the past to promote boxing at the grass root level.
