KARACHI: The fire, broke out at four mattress and home-curtain shops, located in PECHS areas here, turned inferno gutting to ashes almost all articles worth of millions of rupees late on Friday but thankfully no loss of life was reported, fire fighting sources ascertained.According to shop owners, mattresses and curtains and other materials costing millions of rupees were burnt to aches as the fire, erupted in one shop in the beginning, took no time to overpower the others located nearby.As many as six fire tenders participated in rescue efforts to tame fire, fire brigade sources said.

RAWALPINDI: Two unfortunate poor people were burnt amid a gas cylinder blast here on Friday, sources said.According to rescue sources, a loud blast was heard owing to a gas cylinder explosion at 11:45pm at a CNG station located near Chahsultan area, which broke out fire leaving two workers burnt.The injured were at once shifted to a nearby hospital which said to be critical in condition, hospital sources said.

SHEIKHUPURA: The joint investigation team of intelligence agencies claimed arresting three terror suspects including two suicide bombers near Ferozwala bus stand, seizing two suicide jackets and weaponry from their possession here on Friday, intelligence agency sources said.According to sources, the terror suspects, later identified as Noorullah (15), Muhammad Ameen (16) and their associate Abdul Saboor (33), were held as they were coming from Lahore to Ferozwala. Sources said they were originally hailed from Afghanistan and were enrolled at a religious madasa in Mansehra.
