MIRANSHAH: Pakistan Army and FC recovered all the students and staff of Razmak Cadet College, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said Tuesday.Commissioner Bannu Sardar Abbas said Pakistan and FC launched a joint operation 20 kilometer to East of Razmak in Garium and recovered at least 73 students, two professors and a clerk of the cadet college.Bannu Commissioner said the police also recovered 10 vehicles in the operations.

CHAMAN: At least two persons were shot dead including watchmen during the gun onslaught by unknown militants on the Nato supply containers here early on Tuesday meanwhile, three vehicles were also partly damaged during the incident, Geo news reported.According to police, unknown armed gunmen ambushed three trawlers carrying NATO supply containers on bypass road of Chaman area killing two persons on the spot including watchmen while three vehicles were damaged.The suspected militants managed to flee the crime scene after the brief shootout with police personnel which left an official injured, sources added.

NORTH WAZIRISTAN: The District Police Officer (DPO) Bannu has said that as many as 40 kidnapped students and teachers of Razmak College are missing thus far.He was talking to Geo news early on Tuesday. DPO said the efforts are underway for their safe and sound recovery. Earlier on Tuesday, militants kidnapped cadets and staffers of Razmak College who were heading to Bannu from the College.The cadets and staffers of the college, situated in North Waziristan, were on their way to Bannu when they were kidnapped by militants who came in 20 vehicles. However, 17 cadets traveling in a vehicle successfully managed to flee the crime scene.Cadet College Razmak was suddenly closed and the cadets and staff were sent to Bannu.Advisor to Prime Minister on Tribal Affairs Mirza Muhammad Jihadi has confirmed the happening of the incident.Strongly condemning the kidnapping, he pledged that the government will ensure safe release of the hostages.
