DIR: At least 12 suspected persons were arrested from separate areas of Dir district including eight Afghan nationals, security forces sources said on Saturday.FC officials told media that the arrests were made in separate places of Lower and Upper Dir and some areas of Chakdara.Meanwhile, security forces have taken control of tehsil Maidan, asking migrating people to get back to their homes.On the other hand, the national Lahkar has intensified their actions against militants in parts of Upper Dir while District Coordination Officer (DCO) Ejaz Ahmed told Geo news that the Lashkar comprises of 500 local people.Dhokdara and Baladhok areas have been cleared of insurgents, he divulged.
