QUETTA: Two minor boys received injuries in hand grenade blast in the outskirt area Saryab Mill Colony of Quetta here on Saturday, Geo news reported.
According to police, the unknown armed militants hurled a hand grenade on a house of Ghulam Muhammad located in Saryab Mill Colony here which caused serious wounds to two children Ramzan and Zahoor playing the courtyard of the house.
The injured children were rushed to hospital for-medical attainment where they have been said to be out of danger, hospital sources claimed.

KARACHI: A group, allegedly involved in kidnapping ladies from Karachi to sell them in district Badin, has been traced here on Saturday, meanwhile, police have claimed recovering a woman from their possession, Geo news reported.
According to police sources, the Karachi and Golarchi police claimed to have recovered a woman from a village located near Laghari Sem area of Badin district through joint police raid.
The woman was lifted from Karachi and later sold in Badin, police sources claimed.
SHO Golarchi police station Sikandar Mustafa said he who bought woman has also been apprehended during police raid on the village.
The accused Usman Babak stated amid preliminary investigations that he had purchased woman in Rs.82,000 before marrying with her while the woman said her relatives were involved in abduction and that she is married.
?I am the mother of four children?, she maintained adding that I was forcefully brought here and made to marry him second time.

KARACHI: The Chairman Travel Agent Association of Pakistan (TAAP) Nadeem Shareef has ruled out the media reports in regard to the refund of the tickets of Umrah devotees and added that it is a negative propaganda being conspired against travel agents.
He urged government to take swift measures to get the issue resolved with Saudi government soon.
He said the propaganda of media reports regarding the refund of the tickets of 800 Pakistani Umrah devotees in Saudi Arabia, allegedly involving travel agents are baseless.
?The family members of those Pakistani should come before media if they are not faulty?, he questioned adding that if there existed any corruption from travel agents, the TAAP will take concrete action against them.

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari Saturday said that Pakistan attaches high value to its friendship and brotherly relations with UAE and urged for further enhancing the socio-economic and trade ties between the two countries.
The President was talking to Foreign Minister of UAE, Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zeyed Al-Nahyan, who called on him here at the Aiwan-e-Sadr today.
The President appreciated the support and assistance of the UAE Government for the relief and rehabilitation of the displaced people and contribution to the UN Trust Fund for Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Inquiry Commission.
The UAE Foreign Minister hailed the way the Pakistan is fighting the militants and extremists and assured support of his government in the efforts for the relief and rehabilitation of the displaced people.
Those who attended the meeting included Interior Minister Rehman Malik, Secretary General to the President M. Salman Faruqui, and Advisor to the PM on Petroleum and Natural Resources Dr. Asim Hussain. UAE Ambassador to Pakistan Ali Saif Sultan Al Awani was also present.
The UAE official, later on, left for his homeland.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q) high-ups are at odds with each other on the issue of central leadership, Geo News reported Saturday.
A meeting of PML-Q like-minded leaders was held at the residence of Hamayoun Akhtar to mull over the issue relating the party?s central leadership.
Akhtar said PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain cannot ascend the presidency for the third time in accordance with the party constitution, adding the consultation with Arbab Ghulam Rahim and Ijazul Haq is underway.
Akhtar maintained, ?We will not allow the party to slip into the family of Chaudhry Brothers,? adding party cannot be run with undemocratic ways.
Ata Manika and Saleem Saifullah attended the meeting, told Akhtar.
On this occasion, PML-Q leader Iqbal Dar also hit out at the central leadership of the party, saying, ?Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain is not eligible for the presidency for the third time.?
Commenting on the rifts in party, Mushahid Hussain said PML-Q General Council will take up decision in line with the party constitution, as the party is a democratic in nature and decision regarding the party leadership would be made in this very month.
However, Akhtar said PML-Q general Council is unconstitutional.
Mushahid said if anyone wants to be on the helm of affairs of party, he should contest Chaudhry Shujaat, adding the decisions regarding the offices cannot be made in the drawing rooms.
Mushahid urged the absconding PML-Q leaders to return to party.
