KARACHI: Selling pressure continues at Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) on the second consecutive day and the benchmark KSE-100 Index further lost 46 points to close at 7,430.
The share market began today?s journey in the green zone and at one point the Index was seen at 7,522 level.
But, the investors late opted for a cautious stance following tension between the judiciary and government over prices of petroleum products and preferred to sell instead of taking new positions.
The trade volume stood at 140 million shares today.
Pace Pakistan emerged as today?s volume leader which gained Rs1 to close at Rs6.51.
KSE-30 Index eased 64 points to peg at 7,956.
