ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik Tuesday said that Pakistan Intelligence Bureau (IB) and Inter-Services Intelligence agency (ISI) have no political wings.
Malik said no political eavesdropping is being carried out at any secret agencies, adding no phones of any political leaders are being taped in the country.
He urged India to take Hafiz Saeed case to Interpol as Interpol never moves without concrete evidences, adding India provided dossiers having no enough evidence.
Urging India to provide the dossier regarding Samjhota Express tragedy, Malik maintained Samjhota Express is as much important as Mumbai attack.
The dossier comprising the solid evidences regarding the anti-Pakistan activities being carried out at camps in Afghanistan, has been sent to Afghan government, adding Afghan government is taking action on the basis of the dossier.
Malik warned India if the information were not provided to Pakistan, then the country will not be responsible for anything which happens later on.

ISLAMABAD: The Government of Pakistan assured International Monetary Fund (IMF) that if the tax targets are not achieved, and if it was felt so, a supplementary budget may come during the current fiscal year.
According to standby programme, various tax measures would be taken to boost the remittances and these steps would be taken up in supplementary budget; also, the changes would be effected in the taxes through these steps.
The parliament would approve these steps in the budget for the next fiscal years.
According to report, the IMF said the international aid for the terrorist-hit affectees is temporary and Pakistan will have to increase the income through the taxes.

KARACHI: The dues of Pakistan State Oil owed by various institutions rose to Rs93 billion, Geo News reported Tuesday.
According to sources privy to the industry, if the PSO does not get Rs40 billion by August 27, then the PSO will land into hot waters.
The sources said PSO is to receive Rs36 billion from Hub Power Company, Rs29 billion from Wapda and Kot Addu Power Company owes dues of Rs19 billion to the PSO.
The sources further said the PSO is to receive Rs5 billion from government under Price Differential Claim; while, it has Rs4 billion receivable from various other institutions.

RAWALPINDI: The UN commission investigating into the assassination of Benazir Bhutto, continued interrogations and interviews with various personalities on Tuesday.
A visiting seven-member UN commission came to CPO Rawalpindi and held meeting with people, who were appointed on various offices at the event of Benazir Bhutto in 2007.
