8 seriously injured as vehicle skids off into canyon in S Waziristan

SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: Eight people were severely injured when a vehicle lost control and plunged into a gorge here at Angor Adda.

According to ISPR, the vehicle lost control because of being over-loaded and fell off the cliff.

The army personnel rushed to the scene after the accident and shifted the injured to nearby hospital.

Eight of the people sustaining serious injuries were taken to Army Field Hospital Wana with the help of helicopter, ISPR said.
