Shahbaz urges leader?s unity against plus, minus formulae

LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has termed Wednesday the Charter of Democracy (CoD) as an important and indispensable document for establishment and reversal of democracy in Pakistan, Geo news reported.

This CM Punjab said addressing the joint meeting of four CMs here at Sindh CM house in Karachi on Wednesday.

The four CMs have arrived here for attending the meeting in regard to NFC awards to be held in Karachi on Thursday.

Speaker National Assembly Dr. Fehmida Mirza and Federal Minister for Finance Shaukat Tareen were also present on the occasion.

Shahbaz Sharif said Punjab will show flexibility over NFC award issues, urging the unity of leaders to let minus and plus formulae automatically die their own deaths.

Shaukat Tareen said controversies and conflicts over NFC award issues will only be abolished through development of concrete trust among provinces and federation.
