LAHORE: The All Pakistan Transport Owner Federation (APTOF) have announced raise in intercity transport fares up to 10 percent due to soaring in petroleum product prices, Geo news reported.
This Chairman APTOF Azam Khan Niazi told Geo news in Lahore. He said following hike in petroleum prices, it was almost impossible for transporters to keep running vehicles on old fares so they were left with no other option but to raise intercity fares of air-conditioned and nonair-conditioned busses across country.
The new fares list will be brought out soon which will be effective from December, 2009, he said.
