Six suspects held, arms recovered in Karachi

KARACHI: Police claimed arresting as many as six suspected persons and recovered from their possession arms and ammunitions including two hand grenades here in Liaquatabad Town locality, Geo news reported on Friday.

SSP Liaquatabad told Geo news, those arrested persons were accused of carrying out separate incidents of serious crimes including robbery, murder, attempt of murder and street crimes.

According to police sources, the arms and ammunitions seized from their possession included 2 hand grenades, 1 repeater pistol, 4 T.T pistols and six snatched mobile phones.

Accused persons have confessed involvement in many street crime incidents during preliminary investigation, sources said.
