MIRAMSHAH: A missile fired by the suspected US drone plane killed three people in North Waziristan tribal region on Friday.
According to sources, the unmanned US aircraft targeted a house situated in Tappi area near Miramshah.
The house was completely gutted after the attack.

SWAT: Some 2000 militants were killed and more than 800 were apprehended in Swat during Operation Rah-e-Nijat, Incharge operation Maj-Gen Sajad Ghani said on Friday.
Speaking to media in Swat, Maj-Gen Sajad Ghani said Pakistan Army has reconstructed 33 destroyed schools, 10 hospitals, 13 bridges and 30-km long road in Matta and Khawaza Khela tehsils of the scenic valley.
He said that peace had been fully restored across the district while military operation was near to close. Ghani further said that nighttime curfew had also been lifted on permanent basis.

PESHAWAR: Pakistan Muslim League-N Friday criticized ?foreign intrusion? and drone attacks in Pakistan territory and demanded of the government to ensure autonomy of the country by making its policies effective.
Former chief minister NWFP, Sardar Mehtab Ahmed Khan said this while briefing the media after the meeting of PML-N NWFP?s organizing committee here.
