PESHAWAR: Senior NWFP Minister Bashir Ahmed Bilour Sunday said the terrorists? group has been unraveled and the frustrated terrorists are now targeting innocent citizens in bewilderment.
Addressing notables during visit to his constituency in Peshawar, the Senior Minister said it has been the objective of the terrorists since day one to inflict maximum damage to life and property by bomb blasts and suicide attacks and create chaos in the country. But our brave nation cannot be played with such cowardly acts and conspiracies, he added.
He said no one will be able to succeed in his nefarious designs.

GLASGOW: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif feels that education is the best weapon to defeat extremism.
Addressing the Glasgow City Council (GCC) here on Sunday, he said his government wants to improve the current state of Punjab for the change of fate of whole country.
He said that talks should be held with the GCC for its cooperation on police, traffic management and passenger transport systems.

ISLAMABAD: The Asian Development Bank (ADB), in its recent report, revealed that implementation of 14 rental power projects of 2,250 mega watts will result in 43 percent increase in electricity bills.
According to sources in Finance Ministry, ADB?s audit report states that rental power agreements were made in haste. It further says load shedding could end in two years even without the rental powerhouses.
Report says power tariff will climb over 31 percent if these 14 powerhouses are run on gas. Moreover, electricity bills will be increased to 24 percent if 8 rental power projects of 1,200 mega watts get implemented, while this will help end load shedding in one year?s time.
