LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement leader Altaf Hussain has expressed concerns about rising confrontation between government and judiciary.

In a statement issued from London today (Sunday), Altaf Hussain said Pakistan is passing through a very critical time and under such circumstances the clash between the government and the judiciary cannot be termed positive.

He called on the rulers to stay away from any possible confrontation for the better future of country, nation and democracy.

The atmosphere of reconciliation should be maintained, he said, adding wise decisions should be made for the rule of law.
