RAWALPINDI: Sheikh Rasheed has said the attack was a conspiracy to take my life but thanks to dear Allah, who saved my life but I will never deter of my enemies.

While discharging from hospital, he said we will not leave Rawalpindi in a lurch. Rawalpindi will not remain orphan any longer.

He said the plot was conspired to kill me as the police officials were present on five-minute distance from the place of attack but they did not respond for one hour.

My rivals were afraid of defeat; they were foreseeing and sensing their defeat in Rawalpindi elections and they were helpless enough that they attacked to kill me, he stated.

He said: ?This attack was a per-planned plot hatched against my life within the limits of a certain police station.?

There is no more democracy here as my three long time friends have been killed, he maintained adding, assailants are the enemies of democracy.
