ISLAMABAD: Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) of Karachi Wasim Ahmed has been promoted as Director General of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Geo News reported Thursday.

According to sources, the present DG of FIA Zafarullah has been appointed as the chief of National Counter-terrorism Authority.
