ISLAMABAD: President Pervez Musharraf has dismissed media speculation that he is preparing to quit.According to Musharraf’’s office, the president said at a dinner attended by Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani that his relations with the army chief were “excellent” and the report was false.Pakistani stocks dropped after the report added to concern about the country’’s economy. They recovered most of their losses by the end of the day.A daily reported Thursday that the president had decided to resign following a meeting with army chief Gen. Ashfaq Parvez Kayani.
