HARIPUR: A family of four was killed, as their house caved in as a result of driving rains in Khanpur area of District Haripur, Geo News reported Tuesday.

According to police sources, roof of Muhammed Wazir?s house came down owing to the lashing rains last night in Khanpur killing him, his wife and two children.

The local people retrieved from the rubble the bodies of Muhammed Wazir, his wife Rihana, 8-year son Qasim and 6-year old Uzma with the help of police, when they came to know about the incident in the morning.

Wazir?s 10-year daughter Asima was injured; she has been shifted to Khanpur Civil Hospital.

All the deceased would be laid to rest today?s afternoon.
