Strict security arrangements directed for Rabiul Awwal
KARACHI: Sindh Home Minister Dr Zulfiqaaqr Ali Mirza directed the police and other law enforcement agencies for strict security arrangements on Rabiul Awwal 8 and 12, Geo News reported Saturday.
According to a statement issued here from Sindh Home Department, the Home Minister Mirza directed the Inspector General of the Sindh Police, Sultan Salah-ud-Din Babar Khattak for comprehensive planning for the security at the level of all towns and districts.
The Minister directed that in view of recent incidents of terrorism, all TPOs and SHOs would be bound to escort in their security cordon all the processions emerging out from their concerned areas.
Also, the officers and personnel appointed on security duty would not quit their designated points at any cost, he ordered adding if any complaint is received against police, then departmental legal action would be initiated.
