Three died of suffocation in Lahore Jinnah Hospital
LAHORE: At least three persons died of suffocation while another five were injured after eruption of fire at ICU Ward in Jinnah Hospital Lahore on early Tuesday, Geo News reported.
A massive short circuit caused raging fire flames, which in turned filled ICU Ward with smoke, resulting in killing three persons and injuring another five.
Those killed were included Orangzaib, a prisoner of Kot Lakhpat Jail, Talib Hussain, a resident of Sahiwal and Margret from Checha Watni, sources told media.
According to Principal Javaid Ikram, the ICU Ward has been closed for 7 days however, Emergency and Cardio wards will be used as ICU in the mean time.
